Movies for writes block, what do you do?

I love watching movies, but I also love reading books.

When I read a book I have my own imagination, I see the characters differently than another reader. How do you see the book you are reading?

However, when I watch a movie I don’t have my own image of the characters because they are displayed in front of me on a big screen.

I get so involved in the movies, I get alot of motivation and ideas for what I want to right about, i specifically choose a specific movie to get motivation but mostly ideas, with a movie the images become so vivid, but when I start to write my book I get two or three pages in and I get blocked, so I sit in front of laptop tapping on my mouse. Who else has this struggle? What do you do to help with the blocks.

If you have watched the movie “Deadly illusion” the main actress Kristen Davis, is a writer of a series collection, she is asked to write add another addition, before I give the whole movie away, she basically gets writes block and then what happens is what she writes about. ✍

When ‘you’ start to write a book, do you do a mid map board, pieces of paper, with strings linking to another event, very practical. If you do, does this help you with writes block?

I write on paper, well I scribble if we are being honest here, all over the page I have different characters circled linking to another scenario, as I type I write but then…. I hit that block, it takes me days, sometimes month to write.

Yes, I have a family and that does keep me busy, very busy. I don’t work, I am very blessed to be able to be home and look after kids, they do go to school, but there are days where I am so busy with house duties that I just don’t have the time to sit down and focus. How do you as a working mom or none working mom but has a family and a house to run, manage to sit and write and not be bothered, what do you do?
